Cherokee Triangle Association
The Cherokee Triangle is a historic neighborhood in Louisville, Kentucky, with homes dating to the 1800s. It sits at the entrance to Frederick Law Olmsted's Cherokee Park, and the association hosts art fairs, concerts, garden tours, and events that draw the whole city. Their logo featured a statue that stood here for a century. When it was removed, the neighborhood lost a landmark, the thing people gave directions by. The rebrand had to earn the same affection, on its own terms. The new identity was lauded in local press and welcomed as a fresh start.
