The Romance, Glamor and Sex of Ideas

So this video does two things. First, it is inspiring and gives you hope for humanity. Seeing as everyone seems to be a hot mess lately this is a good thing. Secondly it does answer a question I've long had concerning post-apocalyptic movies. Like, why does suddenly no one remember things like phones and electricity. (Perhaps the most egregious example being in Battlefield Earth, don't ask why I've seen it).
